Lucky Six Pence - Wedding
The sixpence first became known as a lucky coin when
introduced by King Edward VI of England in 1551. Symbolizes the promise of a lifetime of joy, and good fortune for the bride and a lifetime of
good health, happiness, wealth and wedded bliss to the newlywed couple.
Brian May, guitarist from the British band Queen, uses a sixpence instead of a normal plectrum to play his guitar.
The six pence is mounted on a single sided card with a pretty poem.
